Charged up

By: Paige Ehlers

Do you think Electric cars are new……WRONG. The electric car began there life in the 1830. You don’t see them around because gas cars came along and people wanted to change to gas gars because they wanted more gas mileage. Electric cars dropped rapidly. Before you thought they were gone they came back up because gas cars had to long of a line which causes the gas crisis and Electric cars were popular again and do you wonder where oil comes from?

I’ll tell you all about it.

A man named Robert Anderson of Scotland invented the first Electric carriage and then Electric cars were made in 1842.

Then, Karl Friedrich Benz invented the first gasoline car and Electric cars weren’t popular any more.

Companies who made Electric cars were trying to figure out how to make Electric cars better so they hired the prices but when everyone had gas cars the gas lines were so long, then all the gas was gone which began a gas crisis’s, and another thing why gas cars were going out of fame because they stink and they had a hand crank that they didn’t like because if you’re going to church you are all dressed up and you don’t want to be seen in a fancy clothes and cranking the handle and the Buffalo standho cost a lot of money($50,000).

So Electric cars were more popular and gas cars weren’t as popular anymore but even if Electric cars were more popular there will still be a good chance of global warming because of the carbon coming out of the car and then it is trapped and can’t get out.

Even thaw Electric cars don’t go as far as gas cars but they help the environment and don’t pollution the air but gas cars go farther but they pollution and that is bad.

OIL

1: A leaf sucks in carbon and it can’t get out.

2: The plant dies with the carbon in it.

3: The leaf goes under the ground.

4: We dig it up and get oil

5: Repeat.

THE FUTURE OF CARS So you should buy Electric cars but if you don’t think there is not a lot of charging stations listen to this. There are now more charging stations and the car finds them itself. The U.S.A is going to pay $4.5 billion for charging stations by 2020.I think that everyone will have an electric car.

What can lift a thousand pounds, thousand meters and can fit in a tea cup

A: water B: oil C: coffee D: candy

The answer is B: oil

EV1

`The EV1 impact was terrific.

Electric cars were forced out of production because oil companies didn’t want people to buy Electric cars.

Companies took them back and smashed them.

Everyone was mad at them for smashing the cars and there are only a few left.

NISSAN LEAF

A Nissan leaf can travel 100 miles on 1 charge.

Nissan leaf is different than other driving because you have to stop if you are going far.

A Nissan leaf finds the charging stations by itself and you have do something different to change gear.

So what is the future of electric cars?

The Future of Electric cars is that Electric cars will have more mileage and there should be more charging stations and Electric cars will be more popular.
